The Magna Carta is a document that established that everyone
including the king was subject to the law and must follow it. This document was
originally formed while king john was ruling. This document maintains the right
to a free trial and several other clauses relating to human rights although it
shaped the modern world we live in today there are only three clauses that
remain as a part of the law. Most of the magna carter relates to the ownership
of land and taxes of the people. Some today still believe the Magna Carta to be
the foundations of Great Britain’s democracy that we live in today.
